Hi Jamie, welcome to my blog! It's an honor for me to have you here. I'm going to ask you something about you and your Beautiful Disaster, a novel that enchanted the whole world. First of all, would you like to introduce you to my readers? Who is Jamie McGuire? 

I am a wife and mother, a business woman, an artist, a goofball, a sister, and a friend.

• Ciao Jamie, benvenuta nel mio blog! È un onore per me averti qui. Ti chiederò qualcosa su di te e sul tuo UNO SPLENDIDO DISASTRO, un romanzo che ha incantato il mondo intero. Prima di tutto, vorresti presentarti ai miei lettori? Chi è Jamie McGuire?
• Sono una moglie e una madre, una donna impegnata, un'artista, una matta, una sorella e un'amica. 

Let's talk about the genesis of your book. Why this title and what about the inspiration for the main characters and the plot of the story? 

The title is very straightforward, I think. It explains Travis and Abby's relationship perfectly. The inspiration for Travis and his relationship with Abby was spawned from a man I had a crush on in college. The plot just happened! I wanted to write something fun, and it all just came together.

• Parliamo della genesi del tuo romanzo. Perché questo titolo e cosa puoi dirci in merito all'ispirazione per i tuoi protagonisti e per l'intreccio della storia?
• Be', per il titolo la spiegazione è semplice. Traduce alla perfezione la relazione tra Travis e Abby. L'ispirazione per Travis e il suo rapporto con Abby è scaturita pensando a un ragazzo per il quale avevo una cotta, ai tempi del college. L'intreccio, poi, è venuto da sé. Volevo scrivere qualcosa di divertente, e così ogni esigenza ha trovato il suo posto. 

Now, Travis. I know, you probably have answered this question many times but I can't resist. This unscrupulous, untamable and charming boy is a kind of god of love for millions of girls. What is the strength of this character?  Readers seem to be drawn to his equal rough and soft sides.

• Adesso, Travis. Lo so, probabilmente hai risposto a questa domanda molte volte ma non posso resistere. Questo ragazzo senza scrupoli, indomabile e affascinante è una sorta di "dio dell'amore" per milioni di ragazze. Qual è il punto di forza di questo personaggio?
• I lettori sembrano essere attratti dal suo essere ruvido e dolce insieme.

What was the hardest part of writing the novel? 

Writing Beautiful Disaster was easy. It was very fun and entertaining to write, and it came very easily. I don't get that with every novel I write, but it was that way for Beautiful Disaster.

• Qual è stata la parte più difficile nello scrivere questo romanzo?
• Scrivere UNO SPLENDIDO DISASTRO è stato semplice. Molto divertente e stimolante, ha preso forma facilmente. Non posso dire la stessa cosa per tutti i romanzi che scrivo ma per questo è stato così.

What are you currently working on? 

A novel called Red Hill. It's a novel about a woman being separated from her children during the zombie apocalypse and her struggle to find them. It's also told from two other characters' points of view.

• A cosa stai lavorando ora?
• A un romanzo intitolato Red Hill. È una storia che racconta di una donna separata dai suoi figli durante una apocalisse zombie e che lotta per ritrovarli. Sarà narrata da due punti di vista.
